Donald Trump looks to have been caught in a massive \u2018lie\u2019, as Maryland\u2019s Governor responded with a blistering six-word remark.<\/strong><\/h2>\n

There is no doubt that the US president speaks a lot, and that is only to the cameras he welcomes inside the Oval Office on a weekly basis.<\/p>\n

On Monday (August 25), while signing a raft of new executive orders, Trump branded Baltimore, Maryland, as a \u2018terrible death bed\u2019 riddled with crime, a claim he appears to have made about several Democratic-led US cities.<\/p>\n

Maryland Governor Wes Moore has, naturally, taken offense to this depiction, saying in a speech that Trump should \u2018visit our streets and not just talk about us from the Oval Office\u2019.<\/p>\n

Then Trump went on to imply that while Moore blasts him publicly, privately he has praised him \u2018the greatest president\u2019 of his lifetime.<\/p>\n

Trump said: \u201cHe came over to me, hugged me, shook my hand and said, \u2018Sir, you\u2019re the greatest president of my lifetime.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201cI said, \u2018It\u2019s really nice of you to say that, I\u2019d love for you to say it publicly, but I don\u2019t think you can do that so it\u2019s OK.\u2019<\/p>\n

\u201c\u2018No sir, you\u2019re doing a fantastic job, I wanted to just shake your hand.’\u201d<\/p>\n

The only problem is, Moore insists this conversation never occured.<\/p>\n
