The Amazon-backed documentary\u2014reportedly a $40 million project\u2014follows Melania Trump in 2025 as she prepares for another four years in the White House, offering a carefully curated look inside the first family.The premiere, held Thursday night at the newly renamed Kennedy Center, drew noticeably limited family support. Melania\u2019s son, Barron, was absent, as were Trump\u2019s other children\u2014Ivana, Eric, and Ivanka.<\/p>\n

Awkwardness peaked on the red carpet when reporters asked the president how he felt about Melania making the film, for which she was paid a reported $28 million.<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Trump said he was proud of her and praised her origins\u2014yet seemed unable to name her country of birth.<\/p>\n

\u201cShe comes from a faraway country,\u201d he said, describing it as \u201cclean, beautiful, safe,\u201d and \u201cvery good,\u201d but never identifying it. He went on to compliment her intelligence and language skills, calling her \u201cvery smart\u201d and \u201ca good influencer\u201d on him.<\/p>\n

Viewers quickly noticed the slip, with many online commenting that the president appeared unsure where his wife is from.<\/p>\n

Melania Trump, 55, was born in 1970 in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia, in what later became Slovenia after the d3ath of Josip Broz Tito and the breakup of the USSR-era bloc.<\/strong><\/h1>\n

The region soon descended into years of conflict. Melania began modeling at 16 and moved to the United States in 1996 after landing a contract, later meeting Donald Trump two years after.<\/p>\n
